The Hygge Me Cardigan is knit in a modified fisherman's rib stitch (no purls!). The cardigan is worked as a series of flat panels and then seamed together with a mattress stitch. It consists of 5 sections including 1 striped back panel, 2 striped front panels, 2 sleeves, 1 collar, and 2 pockets.

This pattern is written so the cardigan can be cozy with a loose fit. This cardigan is includes a size chart for sizes SM-XL. It can easily be modified to be made larger or smaller than those sizes

The Hygge Me Cardigan features a drop shoulder style, which means the upper edge of the sleeve doesn’t reach the shoulder line. Because of this, the drop shoulder is one of the easiest sleeve styles to construct. The sleeves in this cardigan are worked as a rectangle without decreases.

This cardigan can be worked on any ⅝” gauge loom with at least 36 pegs. To work this on a fine gauge ⅜” loom, adjust per your gauge swatch.
